A neighborhood swamped by Irene

A neighborhood swamped by Irene

We're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore...

New Jersey residents are being forced to bear a crushing price for Trenton's failure to address the havoc unleashed by climate change.  We pay this price in tax dollars. In property damage. In lost wages and income. In human lives.

NJPACTNOW is the collective endeavor of more than 30 nonprofit organizations that think two years is two years too long to wait for concrete measures.  We think Governor Murphy needs to act now.

Ask us anything.  Our email address is njpactnow@gmail.com.

What do we want?  For Murphy to take action!

We want him to stop dragging his feet on NJPACT -- the climate resiliency legislation that he promised us two years ago.

We want him to quit blocking the NJDEP's efforts to save lives, property, and vital infrastructure through its proposed emergency rule on flood hazard areas.

When do we want it?  Now!

New Jersey residents should not have to endure another hurricane season without measurable progress on this critical policy.
